Inis Cealtra Cluster

The Inis Cealtra Pastoral Area comprises of the parishes of Bodyke & Tuamgraney, Ogonnelloe, Scariff, Feakle, Killanena & Flagmount, Mountshannon (Clonrush) & Whitegate and also provides services to Raheen Community Hospital.

 

A Cluster Co-ordination Group has been established in the Cluster pastoral area. Comprising initially of representatives from each parish pastoral council from within the pastoral  area. Its remit will be as a group to plan and prepare for any initiatives across the Cluster, which will incorporate involvement of all six parishes. It will be comprise of other people in the  pastoral area who are engaged in various areas of pastoral/liturgical work who will be invited to become members of the  co-ordinating group.

A Reconciliation Cluster Service for Lent in preparation for Easter will be held in the Church of the Sacred Heart Scariff on Monday  April 14th at 7.30pm. This is an opportunity to celebrate God’s forgiveness and mercy.

April 2025

Saturday  Tuamgraney 6:30pm; Mountshannon 7pm; Ogonnelloe (St Molua’s) 8pm
Sunday  Clonusker 9am; Killanena 9:30am; Feakle 10am: Scariff 11am

Please note times for April: Masses for the Easter Vigil will be varied from regular Saturday evening.

May 2025

Saturday  Scariff 6:30pm; Kilclaren 7pm
Sunday Bodyke 9:30am; Flagmount 9:30am; Whitegate 10am (Summertime);              Scariff 11am; Ogonnelloe (St Mary’s) 11am

Mass on  Saturday evening 31st May will be as the June schedule.

Jubilee Year of Hope: Each Cluster in the Diocese of Killaloe is asked to nominate a place of pilgrimage which will be a special location during this Jubilee Year of Hope. For the Inis Cealtra Cluster the designated location will be St. Caimin’s Church on Holy Island, Mountshannon.

Inis Cealtra Pastoral Area comprises of the parishes of O’gonnelloe, Bodyke, Scariff, Mountshannon/Whitegate, Feakle & Flagmount-Killanena. Fr Kieran Blake is parish priest for the area who work together with Fr John Jones, Fr David Carroll, Fr James O’Brien, Fr Jackie Sharpe.
